Deputy Emir Tours Hamad bin Khalifa Medical City

Doha, September 29 (QNA) – Deputy Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani toured Hamad bin Khalifa Medical City and inspected new hospitals and health facilities. He was accompanied with Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa AlThani, Prime Minister and Interior Minister of Qatar. Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health was also present on the occasion who gave a brief on Medical City’s various facilities and services. Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani toured Women’s Wellness and Research Center, Medical Care building, Emergency Building, Hamad General Hospital, Qatar Rehabilitation Institute and the state-of the-art operating rooms, various installations, facilities and research centers.

Medical City is built on 227,000 square meters and is one of Qatar’s key healthcare projects with the objective to provide a world-class health care.
