Al-Kaabi Holds Energy Cooperation Talks in Beijing with Chinese Industry Executives

Doha, 19 Nov 2019

Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs of State of Qatar, met in Beijing with Dai Houliang, Chairman of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec), Wang Dongjin, Chairman of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), Wang Yilin, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), and Lei Fanpei, Chairman of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC).

Discussions during the meetings dealt with various aspects of cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the State of Qatar in the energy field in general, and LNG in particular. All meetings centered on enhancing cooperation in the field of energy.
