Doha: S’hail Exhibition 2019 Takes Off on Tuesday

Doha, 02 Sept 2019

Katara Hall & the wisdom square will witness the opening of the 3rdedition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition S’hail2019, with the participation of more than 140 local and international companies from 20 countries. A unique exhibition in hunting equipment,weapons and falcons.

Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, General Manager of Katara and Abdul Rahman Abdul Latif Al-Mannai, Executive Director of the Social and Sports Support Fund “Da’am” announced  on Monday at a press conference. Dr. Al Sulaiti confirmed that 3rd edition of S’hail will be the most distinguished at every level, in terms of organization, diversity and quality. Innovation, or in the size of representation and participation, or on the scope of cultural, artistic and entertainment events during the exhibition. He also pointed to increasing number of companies participating in S’hail 2019.

Dr. Khalid Al Sulaiti thanked Social and Sports Support Fund “Da’am” for their constant support to the annual Exhibition. He said that this event plays a significant role to preserve our national heritage and cultural values, as well as providing a great opportunity for the public, falconers, hunters, traders and visitors from around the world to explore and making it an international forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge, promotion of products and business deals

Abdul Rahman Abdul Latif Al Mannai, Executive Director of the Social and Sports Support Fund, said on the occasion that  “S’hail has become a milestone in the regional map of exhibitions related to hunting and falcons, noting that the huge international participation expanding every year gives confidence in the exhibition, its success and its importance.

Al-Mannai lauded close collaboration between the two institutions Katara International Hunting & Falcons Exhibition” and the Social and Sports Support Fund. He said that the Fund gives top priority to all activities and initiatives aimed at preserving customs and cultural heritage.

A number of ministries, institutions and governmental and official bodies are participating in this exhibition including Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Department of Reserves and the Department of Livestock and Wildlife.

Hunting & Falcons Exhibition to promote Qatar’s heritage participates at various international prestigious exhibitions including Germany and Britain, such as British monthly exhibition “The Game Fair. ,
