AlKaabi Meets Turkish Energy Minister

Doha, 24 Aug. 2022

Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs met visiting Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Fatih Donmez on Wednesday in Doha.

Both sides discussed developments in the field of renewable energy and hydrocarbon exploration.

Donmez was accompanied during the meeting by Ankara’s ambassador to Doha, Mehmet Mustafa Gökso, and other Turkish officials.

Turkish Minister Donmez was in Sultanate of Oman a day earlier to discuss ways of cooperation between both the countries in the energy field.

Omani Minister of Energy and Minerals, Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi discussed investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector, renewable energy and hydrogen, and related industries.
